ANDP Names Ashani O’Mard President

ANDP Update

ATLANTA, GA (January 7, 2026) — The Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, Inc. (ANDP) announced today that Ashani O’Mard has been promoted to President, effective January 1, 2026. John O’Callaghan will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer.

The promotion reflects O’Mard’s leadership contributions to ANDP’s continued growth and the increasing scale of its affordable housing work across metro Atlanta, as well as the organization’s need to effectively manage and respond to the growing complexity of its real estate, capital, and operating structures. As President, O’Mard will serve as the organization’s second-in-command and a strategic partner to the CEO, helping shape ANDP’s long-term direction and strengthen its financial and operational capacity across all lines of business.

In this expanded role, O’Mard will provide senior leadership across ANDP’s housing activities, overseeing multifamily development and leading a high-priority initiative to strengthen the asset management and financial performance of the organization’s more than 260-unit single-family rental portfolio. She will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and property management partners to ensure strong execution, performance, and long-term affordability.

“Ashani brings exceptional leadership, deep technical expertise, and strong relationships across the public, private, and philanthropic sectors,” said Richard Slaton, Chairman of the ANDP Board of Directors. “Her promotion to President recognizes the breadth of her responsibilities today and the critical role she will play in advancing ANDP’s mission to expand affordable housing opportunities at scale throughout our region.”

As President, O’Mard will also continue to play a central role in advancing ANDP’s capital strategy, stewarding relationships across the private, public, and philanthropic sectors to support organizational growth and sustainability. Working in close partnership with the CEO, Board, and leadership team, she will support enterprise-wide planning and help secure debt, public funding, and charitable investment to advance long-term affordability.

A recognized thought leader in affordable housing development, O’Mard will play an expanded role in representing ANDP’s innovative model at the regional, state, and national levels. She will engage with policymakers, advocate for expanded affordable housing tools such as New Markets Tax Credits, and represent ANDP with funders, elected officials, media, and civic partners.

Founded in 1991, ANDP is a nonprofit affordable housing developer that creates, preserves, and finances quality affordable homes at scale while promoting community stability and economic opportunity across metro Atlanta.
