STAFF SPOTLIGHT:
Audrey Jordan
How
do you execute a loan fund valued at $11 million dollars and revolve
its value to more than $80 million while supporting the creation of
more than 3,000 units of affordable housing – with only three staff
members? Simple. You make sure that great team of three includes
Audrey Jordan.
Audrey Jordan, a native of Gastonia, North Carolina, has been with
ANDP since September 2003. Audrey received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Management Information Systems from Winston Salem State
University in North Carolina and is currently serving as the Loan
Portfolio Administrator with ANDP’s lending arm, Community
Redevelopment Loan and Investment Fund, Inc. (CRLIF).
Audrey’s expertise and dedication in the financial arena has proven
her an asset to the ANDP team. After working six years in the
banking industry as Senior Business Analyst and Credit Analyst,
where profit was the bottom line, Audrey left to find a more
socially conscious position. She chose ANDP because of their
reputation and track record of making an impact; it is this record
that she would soon become a part of. Now Audrey says she is able to
“help and impact the lives of others while seeing an impact.”
Audrey’s job responsibilities include loan originating, servicing,
underwriting, investor prospecting, which includes the $1 million
dollar investment she recently helped secure from Northern Trust
Bank. She finds that helping non-profit organizations—that cannot
always qualify through traditional lenders—realize their development
goals, one of the most gratifying roles of her job here at ANDP. It
is through such roles and responsibilities that she is able to see
beyond the bottom line and actually make a difference.
“Our ability to support neighborhood redevelopment is made possible
with committed team members like Audrey. In addition to excellence
in her work, she also gives of her personal time to support those in
need,” shares K.C. George, Senior Director for Housing Finance and
Administration/CRLIF.
When not at work, Audrey enjoys reading, watching movies, visiting
with family and friends, traveling, and volunteering. In the future,
she hopes to start a personal care home, which will care for senior
citizens in a communal living environment.
