ANDP Welcomes New
Members to Board of Directors
ANDP is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its
Board of Directors – Wendell Dallas of Atlanta Gas Light, David
Ellis of Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, and Catherine
Lasher of Fannie Mae.
Wendell Dallas, vice president and general manager of operations of
Atlanta Gas Light (AGL), came to Atlanta in 2005 from Savannah,
Georgia. In addition to his fifteen years of experience in the
natural gas industry, Dallas was very involved in the Savannah
community. He served as board chairman of Coastal Workforce Services
and as a board member of Savannah Economic Development Authority,
Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, United Way of the Coastal Empire,
Savannah Community Foundation, Junior Achievement, and Savannah Fund
for Excellence in Public Education. In 2006, Dallas was appointed by
Governor Sonny Perdue to serve on the State of Georgia’s Workforce
Investment Board.
David Ellis, executive director of Greater Atlanta Home Builders
Association (GAHB), has more than 16 years of executive experience
in the Atlanta building industry. Ellis was recognized by the
National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as Best New Executive
Officer in the nation in 2003 and was also honored as NAHB’s
Executive Officer of the Year. He currently a board member of NAHB
Executive Officers Council, HomeAid Atlanta, the Housing Institute,
Livable Communities Coalition and Southface Energy Institute.
Catherine Lasher, vice president for marketing with Fannie Mae, has
more than 23 years of experience with Fannie Mae and the housing
industry. Prior to her present appointment in May 2006, Lasher was
director of customer management and was responsible for directing
and managing customer management staff in effective strategic
planning and relationship management of Fannie Mae’s largest
customers. Prior to joining Fannie May in 1983, Lasher worked in
tax-sheltered annuities with Shelnut and Associates, Inc.

executives from the private sector and we are thrilled to continue
that tradition with the selection of these new board members. All
three bring significant expertise that will boost our ability to
successfully continue our mission-driven work,” explained ANDP
president & CEO, John O’Callaghan.
ANDP board members serve a three year term and provide their
expertise to a variety of committees and initiatives.
