Martin House represents
the first completed phase of a 32 acre project at Adamsville Place in
the Southwest Atlanta community of Adamsville. Martin House, completed
in 2005, is a 153 unit apartment community and is available only to
active adults 55 years of age and older. Each one and two bedroom
unit includes spacious walk-in closets, washer/dryer connections and
security monitoring.
Named in honor of Atlanta City Councilman C.T. Martin, the facility
offers many amenities including a 40-seat movie theatre, library,
resort-style pool, fitness and health center, physician appointment
room and a community garden.
Martin House was financed with low income housing tax credits.
Accordingly, there are rent and income restrictions. Nearly 80% of
the apartments are reserved as affordable.
